You're it!
Art Zone
Personal Zone
Misc. Zone
This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
It's finally up. It's embarrassing how long it took for me to figure out what to do with the forward flank of that thing. I don't think windows were the best choice, but it looked dishearteningly empty without them.
Amusingly enough, I only just noticed your comment about not noticing my comment. Although we did talk on the telephone after that. Anyway, how's it going?
Sorry it took me so long to reply, but Dead Week's been... ugh... Still, it's actually going... well... better now. Since the preponderance of projects I've had due this past week are over, I have a hunch that finals week will be less stressful... which is... strange...
Other than that, things have been going great! I know more about the Spanish Inquisition than any reasonable person should, and my D&D character has finally gone insane! Woo! How are things with you?
Looks like delayed replies seem to be the trend for both of us Computer switchage FTL. (Wait, I used that phrase half a year ago...)
Gone insane? Must be quite the story.
I spent pretty much the whole break doing stuff for Spring, which basically involved making several widgets (basically UI plugins), as well as working on three mods: a WW II mod, a Star Wars mod, and a mod that started as just another TA knockoff but is moving in its own direction. Not as much social activity as I'd have liked, but whatever.
Well, the insanity is an occasionally disassociate multiple personality condition. It was supposed to start after our first party death (about three sessions ago). By that time, Amber had defined her job in the party as keeping everyone in one piece and trying to keep their atrocities down to a minimum. Failing at that kinda' made her head break. What Amber has now is a re-naive'ed version of her normal personality and a hyper-aggressive, cut-throat blaster (who I call Gloomy for convenience) for the other. ... Only the GM really doesn't seem to want to deal with it, so Gloomy very rarely shows up. The party kinda falls flat on their face without Amber's massive, massive cure spells.
Other than that, I've mostly be working on my Walk Jockeys re-build and ran a Northlands one-shot at the Winter Mini-Convention yesterday. Partially because the current incarnation of Walk Jockeys has been built up from scratch, I don't yet have enough material to run a good one-shot with it. So it's still in the pipeline, as it were.
I hope things are going well for you now, though. I should see if my computer can run TA Spring whilst I wait for Dawn of War II's beta to come out. At which point, my life and soul will belong to it.
Hello Doomsmile. Haven't seen you in a while; unfortunately, that's not likely to change soon, since I'm in Taiwan and won't get back until just around Cal's early start (nonaligned academic calendars FTL). Your art has really improved over the years--good to see that getting your laptop stolen didn't stop you back then.
Anyway, I've gotten into a bit of 3D modeling myself, although I use Wings 3D instead of Blender. This hit a hiatus almost as soon as I started due to my Taiwan trip, but I hope to do more in the future.
Have you tried UV mapping? I'm not familiar with Blender, so I'm not quite sure from looking at the models.
Ah, yes. The angry rant I probably shouldn't have typed in the open when I think in retrospect. Well, at least we both refrained from using names, though.
